WCT’s ultimate goal is to release different animal species into the wild. The management of the wild population of cheetah is a cause that WCT is endorsing. Humans must protect the genetic pool, and strive to ensure the preservation of the species.
Most animals at HESC are released into a controlled/ managed environment. A management plan is a requirement for the approval and regular updates on the released animals.
Several species including leopard, servals, caracal, birds, as well as captive bred cheetah have been successfully introduced to suitable wild natural environments.
